Cloud Engineer Senior
Location: McLean, VA – Fully Onsite
Assignment Type: Contract Only
End Date: March 31, 2027 and extendable
Schedule: Standard hours + On-call rotation (once every 5 weeks)
Interview Process: 1–2 Rounds | 30–60 Minutes | MS Teams (Video Mandatory) + In-Person
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong AWS expertise and hands-on experience enabling GenAI solutions in cloud environments. This role focuses on building, securing, and supporting AWS infrastructure that powers enterprise-grade Generative AI capabilities.
The ideal candidate combines deep AWS platform knowledge with recent GenAI enablement experience and strong infrastructure automation skills.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience in enterprise environments
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience enabling GenAI solutions in AWS
- Direct experience with:
- AWS Bedrock
- AWS Generative AI services
- AWS networking (PrivateLink, Security Groups, Route53, VPC, VPC Endpoints, etc.)

Strong understanding of authentication and authorization using:
- SCP
- KMS
- IAM Policies & Roles
- Experience designing and deploying CloudFormation Templates (CFT)
- CI/CD pipeline automation experience
Technical Requirements
- 5+ years designing and supporting AWS platform infrastructure solutions
- Hands-on scripting experience:
- CloudFormation
- Python
- Shell scripting

- Jenkins
- Git (Bitbucket)
- Artifactory
- ServiceNow
- Jira
- Confluence
- Experience designing, implementing, integrating, and supporting cloud-based applications at the platform level
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience required.
Compensation: $65.00 - $85.00 per hour
